The College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad commenced the final examinations for the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year for postgraduate students (Master’s and Ph.D.) on the morning of Monday, June 16, 2025. The exams are being conducted under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhia Jassim, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, with close monitoring by department heads and examination committees.
As part of overseeing the examination process, Professor Dr. Dhia Jassim, accompanied by Professor Dr. Faleh Hassan, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of several exam halls to observe the smooth flow of the exams and to ensure that students were adhering to the established rules and regulations. They also evaluated the readiness of the examination halls and the services provided to guarantee an appropriate academic environment.
During their tour, the associate deans emphasized the college’s commitment to providing all necessary requirements for the success of the examination process and to ensuring it proceeds with transparency and efficiency, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the directives of the University of Baghdad Presidency and the College Council.
They also praised the considerable efforts made by the examination committees and academic departments in organizing the exams and attending to every detail. Furthermore, they commended the high level of discipline and commitment shown by the postgraduate students and wished them continued success in their academic journey.
