Cisco Academy Unit/ College of Engineering/ University of Baghdad
The Academy was established in 2006, where Cisco curriculum are being taught in computer network. The curriculum includes four separated courses, the participants are being taught on the fundamentals of computer network and how to install and program the components related to computer network of Cisco company that are used in local networks and global networks that use different Cisco network standards. These four courses are serial, and the participant can stop on any level he wants because the certificates are specialized in different subjects of Computer network, i.e., when the participant passes any level, he obtains a certificate of that level.
The first course was graduated on 19th of October 2006, all the daily Quizzes and the final exam are done by online test, by answering M.C.Q’s, after getting at least 60% in the final exam the participant got a certificate in the computer network, in case getting more than 75% the participant gets another certificate from the Cisco manager, all these certificates are internationally recognized worldwide.
In addition, the Cisco Academy offers many training and development courses in the field of information technology and there is an annual program for the courses that are given at the academy. The Academy receives the participants and engineers from different ministers and corporations in all the renewed related to a specialty field. With all the revealed new techniques developed in their specialty work by presenting courses and developing programs and making them available.
The Academy award an international certificate recognized by passing the course and test.
