The Department of Water Resources Engineering organised a reception event for first-year students to welcome them and introduce them to the department. The event took place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Basim Shaba, along with several faculty members and the student reception committee.
The event began with a speech by the Head of the Department, who warmly welcomed the first-year students and offered valuable advice and guidance on university life. Following this, Dr. Osama Ibrahim, the head of the student reception committee, delivered a presentation that introduced students to the department’s objectives, mission, academic curriculum, and study program. He also introduced the faculty, engineering staff, and highlighted the department’s key activities, achievements, and the excellence of its faculty and students.
