Due to the academic reputation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hussein Toukan Abdullah in the field of publishing credible scientific research in high-impact international journals indexed in the global databases Scopus and Clarivate, he has been selected as an external examiner for a PhD student at the University of Malaya (UM), which is one of the globally recognized universities with a high world ranking, having ranked #60 in the QS World Ranking for 2025. It is worth noting that the University of Malaya is the top university in Malaysia, and this achievement positively reflects on the global ranking index of the University of Baghdad, aligning with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the necessity of opening up to the global community and participating in international scientific activities that benefit our universities in the global assessment of Iraqi universities.
