A workshop titled “Strategies for Better Time Management” was held in the Petroleum Engineering Department on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in the Graduate Studies Hall, presented by Dr. Amal Habib Asi, with the attendance of several faculty members and students.
The workshop discussed the importance of time management, emphasizing the need for conscious planning and control over the time allocated for different tasks to enhance efficiency. A set of effective time management strategies were reviewed, including time auditing and using the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize personal tasks.
Additionally, the workshop addressed the issue of electronic addiction and its negative impact on time management, presenting effective ways to handle it. At the end of the workshop, it was emphasized that time management and organization are skills that can be learned, and acquiring these skills helps enhance control over time and achieve overall satisfaction.
