In a step that indicates the excellence of the Department of Chemical Engineering, a delegation of academic staff and students of the 4th stage participated in the 13th Symposium on Engineering Final Year Projects (13th SEFYP), which was held on 7/5/2024 at the College of Engineering and Architecture / University of Nizwa in Oman, and it is the only project participating in this Symposium from the College of Engineering. Where the students Aya Mohammed, Duha Shaker, Manar Saad, and Zeina Hossam, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khazal and Assist. Prof. Dr. Atheer Mohammed, delivered their graduation project, tagged “Bio-Oil Production by Biomass: Chlorella Vulgaris” online, in one of the Symposium sessions, and the project was well received by the audience because of its positive impact on developing the concept of sustainable and green engineering, and preserving the environment.
