The Department of Electrical Engineering in the College of Engineering in the University of Baghdad organized a field visit to Dar Al Attaa Care Home for the Elderly in Al Rashad on Sunday, 4/7/2024. A number of faculty members in the department participated in this visit. The aim of the visit was to enhance the positive and humanitarian aspect and care for the elderly by giving back to society, promoting the development of responsibility and establishing good behavior in society. The visit included providing Eid clothes to residents of the home, in addition to providing psychological and social support to the elderly to increase their sense of importance in society. At the end of the visit, the director of Dar Al Attaa Care Home for the Elderly and the residents thanked the faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department for their efforts for the visitation, as well as the psychosocial support.
