Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Abbas Hassan, a faculty member in the Department of Architecture at the University of Baghdad College of Engineering, participated in writing a chapter in a book published by Newcastle University, UK, and Routledge, a globally recognized publishing house.

The book explores historical markets in various countries in the Middle East and North Africa, comprising fifteen chapters, each focusing on a historical market in a specific country. The chapters cover various aspects, including history, reasons for emergence, social, economic, and urban sustainability in their spaces.
