The Council of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad held its fifteenth session for the 2025–2026 academic year on the morning of Thursday, 18 June 2026. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Deans and Heads of the Scientific Departments.
During the session, the Council discussed a range of topics included in the agenda, foremost among them examination results, the scientific promotion file, as well as several issues related to the progress of administrative work within the College’s departments and divisions. These discussions aimed to enhance institutional performance efficiency and further develop the academic and administrative environment of the College.
The session concluded with an emphasis on continuing efforts to achieve the College’s scientific and academic objectives in a manner consistent with maintaining the high standards and quality of engineering education at the University of Baghdad.
