The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ziyad Tariq Abdul Ali, received on Monday, May 11, 2026, a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visit came as part of efforts to monitor the progress of final examinations and assess the college’s compliance with approved examination regulations and instructions.
The visit included a field tour across the college’s departments, during which the committee reviewed examination halls and their organizational mechanisms. The committee also examined samples of exam questions and evaluated their suitability in relation to academic curricula and students’ academic levels.
In addition, the committee visited the examination committees within the engineering departments, accompanied by department heads. They reviewed the procedures for organizing examination records, documenting grades, and the adopted mechanisms to ensure accuracy and transparency in managing the examination process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the ministerial committee praised the high level of organization observed during the final examinations at the College of Engineering, commending the efforts of the college deanship, department heads, examination committees, and supervising faculty members in providing a well-organized examination environment that contributes to the success of the educational process.
