Under the theme of sustainable development and quality education, the College of Engineering held a meeting on Monday, January 12, 2026, with the Editors-in-Chief and Managing Editors of its scientific journals. The meeting was chaired by the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Ziyad Tariq Abdul Ali, as part of ongoing efforts to advance the status of the college’s scientific journals and enhance the quality of academic publishing.
The meeting discussed the current state of the College of Engineering’s journals, identified the main challenges facing their operations, and explored appropriate solutions. Emphasis was placed on strengthening positive aspects and developing work mechanisms in a way that contributes to improving the scientific ranking of the journals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Assistant Dean expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Editors-in-Chief and Managing Editors, praising their role in supporting the scientific and research mission of the College of Engineering.
