The Scientific Committee of the Department of Water Resources Engineering held a meeting with postgraduate students on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Dijlah Hall, to discuss their academic and administrative matters and address challenges that may arise during their study and research journey.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the key regulations and guidelines related to study and research requirements. It also listened to students’ observations and suggestions concerning supervision mechanisms and ways to provide an academic environment that fosters creativity and rigorous scientific research.
The committee affirmed its commitment to continuously following up on postgraduate students’ affairs and providing the necessary support to help elevate the quality of scientific research, in line with the university’s vision of serving society and enhancing knowledge production.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining continuous communication between students and the scientific committee to ensure that any future obstacles are effectively addressed and to strengthen the spirit of academic cooperation between faculty and students.
