Professor Dr. Abdullah Dhaya, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering – College of Engineering – University of Baghdad, participated in the 3rd International Conference of Engineering Sciences (CESC2025), held at the College of Engineering – Al-Mustansiriyah University, in collaboration with Al-Ashour Private University
Dr. Abdullah contributed with a research paper titled:
“A Study of Mechanical Properties for Different Hybrid Nano Composites in an Epoxy Matrix Under Tensile Loading” The research investigates the impact of incorporating various nanomaterials (such as multi-walled carbon nanotubes, calcium carbonate, and silicon carbide) into an epoxy resin, and how this affects key mechanical properties such as tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and elongation. The results showed that the addition of these materials in specific proportions significantly enhanced the mechanical performance of the composite materials.
This participation reflects the continuous efforts of the academic staff at the University of Baghdad to produce high-quality research that contributes to scientific and technological advancement and reinforces the university’s reputation in both local and international academic forums.
