The journey of fifth-year graduation project discussions continues for the fifth consecutive day at the Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. On Sunday, May 25, 2025, seven students presented their projects, with participation from faculty members from various Iraqi universities. The projects included:

A pedestrian bridge over the Tigris River in Baghdad

An agricultural village and grain mine in Diwaniyah

A youth talent development center

The revival of Umm Al-Rabeein Island

A facility for athletes with special needs

A rehabilitation hospital for drug addicts

A biophilic healing center in Al-Zaafaraniya
In addition to these, a variety of other projects were also presented.
The diversity of these projects reflects the students’ commitment and boldness in selecting service-oriented topics that present significant architectural design challenges. These projects tackled complex functional and formal issues and represent a qualitative shift in the students’ orientation and their deep awareness of their country’s real needs.
