The Department of Architecture at the University of Baghdad organized an extracurricular activity for third-year students as part of the requirements for the course History of Architecture III, on Sunday, May 11, 2025, under the supervision of the course instructor, Asst. Prof. Asmaa Sadiq Abdulkarim Al-Ani.
The activity featured the annual exhibition of hand-drawn architectural illustrations for the academic year 2024–2025. Students presented hand-rendered drawings showcasing masterpieces of global architecture throughout history, using a variety of visual representation techniques.
The exhibition included examples of major architectural styles such as Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and others. The drawings clearly illustrated comprehensive architectural plans of these styles, along with enlarged details and perspective views.
