As part of the ongoing academic collaboration between architecture departments in Iraqi universities, faculty members from the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, participated in the evaluation of fifth-year graduation projects at the Department of Architecture, Al-Nahrain University. The event took place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and included:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Dhurgham Mazher Al-Obaidi
- Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Khalid
- Lecturer Dr. Ali Abdul Assal
The students’ projects covered a wide range of topics, including:
- Urban and heritage development projects
- Specialized healthcare buildings
- Sports complexes and multi-use facilities
- High-rise buildings
- Scientific research centers
The projects reflected a strong level of design and creativity, demonstrating the academic and practical efforts of the students and their instructors.
