The Department of Water Resources Engineering organised a series of academic discussion panels for postgraduate students over a period of three weeks, held in Al-Furat Hall on the following dates: Monday, 14/4/2025, Wednesday, 23/4/2025, and Monday, 5/5/2025.
The sessions were attended by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Basim Shaba Abed, along with members of the Scientific Committee, the Postgraduate Studies Coordinator, and several faculty members of the department.
The discussion panels provided thorough follow-up on the master’s and doctoral research projects. The proposed topics for the master’s theses were reviewed, and the committee examined the different stages of progress achieved by the students. Scientific notes regarding the outcomes of the presented work were documented, and appropriate guidance was provided to further develop the projects in line with the students’ academic research pathways.
