Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran Muhsin, a faculty member in the Department of Water Resources Engineering, participated in the ministerial committee responsible for establishing a PhD program in the Department of Environmental Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Babylon. The committee visited the Environmental Engineering Department, met with the Dean of the College of Engineering, his deputies, the Head of the Department, and the postgraduate teaching staff. The committee reviewed the department’s qualifications for launching the program and submitted its recommendations accordingly.
It is worth noting that Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran Muhsin was selected for the ministerial team due to his extensive scientific expertise in his field. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering – Environmental Engineering from the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM), which is considered a prestigious international university. He has published numerous scientific papers in reputable international journals, holds an H-Index of 10, and received the University of Baghdad Excellence Award for the academic year 2023–2024.
