As part of the activities of the Department of Water Resources at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, a group of faculty members organised a visit for first-year students to the University of Baghdad Museum. The aim was to strengthen their sense of belonging to the university and to preserve its rich heritage. The students explored the museum’s contents, which include photographs documenting the history of the University of Baghdad, helping them become more familiar with its academic legacy.

The visit also included the Central Library, where students learned about the administrative units and the services the library offers to students and researchers. The process of searching for required books and references was explained, in addition to providing educational information about different types of resources and the importance of staying updated with developments in various fields of knowledge.

At the end of the visit, students expressed their admiration for the valuable books and scientific references available in the library, as well as the ease of accessing the materials they need.
