The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized an awareness campaign on Thursday, September 10, 2026, which included the dissemination of a series of printed and electronic awareness posters addressing the rationalization and sustainability of water and energy consumption and environmental protection.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of rationalizing resource consumption and utilizing energy sustainably, while emphasizing the role of individuals in protecting the environment and reducing waste and pollution. The campaign addressed several awareness themes, including water conservation, energy efficiency and rational use, environmental protection from pollution, and the environmental and engineering impacts of sustainable practices. It also highlighted the benefits of conserving natural resources and making efficient and sustainable use of energy.
This campaign is part of the efforts of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable behaviors, thereby contributing to strengthening community awareness of the importance of preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
