The Editorial Board of the Engineering Journal at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, held a meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Nadia Adnan Shaltagh, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, with the participation of the members of the Editorial Board. The meeting addressed several topics related to developing the journal’s scientific and editorial performance and enhancing its overall academic standing.

The meeting discussed the development of the journal’s layout and template, enhancing the accuracy and rigor of the scientific peer-review process, and improving the quality of scientific and linguistic writing. The Board also explored ways to strengthen the journal’s international presence by attracting research papers, researchers, and reviewers from outside Iraq.

The Editorial Board also discussed updating the journal’s electronic system and following up on international requirements and standards adopted in the fields of academic publishing and scientific indexing, in a manner that contributes to improving the journal’s performance and strengthening its academic presence.

As part of recognizing the scientific achievements of the Editorial Board members, the Editor-in-Chief and the Board members congratulated the Journal’s Managing Editor, Professor Dr. Basma Ismail Waisi, on her academic promotion to the rank of Professor, wishing her continued success and excellence and further contributions to scientific advancement.
