As part of its academic activities and commitment to enhancing students’ practical skills, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad organized a scientific visit to the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries located in Al-Waziriyah in 23th April 2025. The visit included fourth-year students and was supervised by a group of the department’s faculty members.
The objective of the visit was to observe the production lines and technologies used in the manufacturing of electrical equipment. Students also learned about the stages of testing and technical inspection of devices, as well as the standards adopted to ensure quality and efficiency.
Engineers from the company provided detailed explanations of the workflow and recent technological advancements in the field of electrical manufacturing, offering students a valuable opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world industrial applications.
