As part of the department’s scientific activities, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Surveying Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Maytham Mutashar, a free training course was held in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit and the Rehabilitation and Employment Division, entitled:
“Fundamentals and Applications of ArcGIS Pro in Spatial Data Analysis.”
The course took place over three days, from December 29 to 31, 2024, in the Photogrammetry Lab Hall. It was delivered by:
- Lecturer Lama Khalid Jassim
- Lecturer Raghad Hadi Hassan
- Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Rahman Faleh
The course was attended by a group of specialized faculty members and students interested in understanding the benefits of using this software for area analysis and measurement. Each session lasted two hours and included interactive discussions and responses to attendees’ questions.
