The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Baghdad held a workshop entitled “The Job Market and Opportunities for Students,” attended by a number of faculty members and students.The workshop aimed to provide prospective graduates with valuable information about the job market, the opportunities available to them after graduation, and the importance of developing and enhancing their skills in the next stage of their lives.
The workshop, presented by a number of graduates from the department, focused on reviewing the basic skills required by the modern job market and how to obtain accredited certificates for these skills. It also discussed current job requirements and their relationship to soft and technical skills. The workshop also addressed the importance of measuring professional competence based on employer standards.
The workshop concluded with practical solutions and comprehensive guidance aimed at enabling participants to successfully meet the demands of the job market and keep pace with its developments.
