Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Ghassan Hameed Abdul Majeed, and as part of the activities of the Department’s Educational Guidance Committee, which are held in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College, a number of department members visited Al Ain Social Welfare Foundation/Karrada Branch on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The visit aimed at presenting gifts to the foundation’s orphans as in-kind donations to help bring joy to the children’s faces. The professors met with the foundation’s administration and staff, who welcomed them and briefed them on the foundation, the services it provides to support orphans, and how to provide the appropriate conditions for them to grow up healthy, benefiting society in general and this segment in particular. At the end of the visit, the department’s professors thanked the foundation’s officials for their efforts to support and assist this segment of society.
