On Thursday, February 13, 2025, the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Baghdad organized the first part of the “Joint Exam” in collaboration with the Departments of Architectural Engineering at Al-Farabi and Uruk Private Universities. This initiative is in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The exam included students from all academic stages after the first year in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Baghdad, along with their counterparts from the aforementioned private universities, as part of the academic partnership between these institutions.
The examination process was overseen by the College of Engineering’s Deanship, with supervision from the Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, Prof. Dr. Saad Fawzi, and the Head of the Primary Studies Examination Committee, Dr. Inas Hassan Al-Bakri, to ensure the exam proceeded in line with academic standards.
The goal of this exam is to strengthen academic collaboration between Iraqi universities and unify educational standards, which will contribute to the development of the educational process and foster scientific integration between academic institutions with established partnerships.
