Under the generous patronage of Professor Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, Dean of the College of Engineering, the Mechanical Engineering Department organized the first poetry festival of this academic year on Monday, February 10, 2025. The festival featured the participation of our esteemed students, in cooperation with the advisory, educational, and cultural units of the college’s administration. The festival witnessed a wide turnout, as it shined with the participation of elite literary figures and poets who enriched the event with their creations. Additionally, the festival was attended by the Director of the Artistic Activities Department at the University of Baghdad, adding a distinguished cultural touch to the event. The festival also saw the presence of Dr. Samira, Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, and Professor Firas, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department.
