The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Baghdad celebrated the seventh anniversary of Iraq’s victory over the Daesh organization. The event took place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Smart Hall of the Aeronautical Engineering Department. The ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech on this occasion by the department coordinator, Asst. Lect. Ahmed Tawfiq Mustafa, who extended his congratulations to Iraqis on this important national event.
In his address, he recalled the heroic epics and immense sacrifices made by the security sectors during the war against Daesh. He praised their courage and dedication in defending the homeland, protecting its security, and ensuring its stability. Several professors and students gathered at this event to commemorate Iraq’s triumph over terrorism, reaffirming unity and solidarity to build a better future for the country.
