Under the supervision of the Head of the Environmental Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Ayad Abdulhamza Faisal, the Environmental Engineering Department held a workshop on Monday, 7\10\2024 by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hussein Jabbar Khadim titled:
“Bologna Pathway Master System”
The workshop included introducing faculty members to the digital system of the Bologna Process and enhancing the understanding of faculty members and staff of the Bologna System and how to use it effectively. The main topics of the seminar included defining the system and explaining how to log in (professor portal) and the main interface, in addition to how to record attendance and absence and enter formative assessments for courses. The practical benefits of the system were also highlighted, and how assessments and absence scores are calculated automatically, which saves time and effort for professors.
The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably the ease of using the system and the faculty members’ adaptation to it, which enhances work efficiency and increases the quality of education in the college. The workshop included extensive discussions on the application mechanism and entering the required information into the system. The workshop was also attended by the head of the department, members of the Bologna Process Committee in the department, and a liaison member. The professors of the first and second stages were followed up and inquiries regarding the system were answered.
