Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, the President of Baghdad University, visited the College of Engineering to oversee the progress of the final examinations for graduate students for the academic year 2023-2024. He was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, and the Scientific Deputy of Baghdad Engineering, Professor Dr. Diaa Jasim, on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
During the visit, President of Baghdad University observed the examination process for graduate students, conducting a tour of the examination halls. He inquired about the nature of the questions, their alignment with the students’ levels, the allotted time, and their coverage of the curriculum. He also inspected the provision of all necessary resources to ensure suitable examination conditions for the students.
As part of the visit, the President of the University also inspected the infrastructure of the Electrical Engineering Department, where he was welcomed by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Faras Mohammed Ta’ema, who provided an overview of the department’s developments, including smart classrooms.
At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the University commended the efforts made in developing the university’s infrastructure and the services provided to the students, praising the continuous progress and innovation at the College of Engineering.
