In a resilient scientific environment, the Research Committee for graduation projects held seminars for fourth-year students of the Department of Water Resources Engineering for the Academic Year 2023/2024 on Monday, February 19, 2024. The students were engaged in preliminary discussions to identify the challenges and obstacles they encountered while working on their graduation projects. The students presented a concise overview of their projects, highlighting the progress made, detailing the steps taken, and sharing the results achieved. They were guided and evaluated by the research committees, which included the department’s professors: Dr. Riyadh Zuhair, Dr. Mahmoud Saleh, Dr. Ali Omran, Dr. Ameen Mohammed Saleh, Dr. Zuhair Kazem, Dr. Alaa Hassan, under the direct supervision of the Department chair, Professor Dr. Basim Shaba Abed. The supervising professors also attended the discussion sessions with the students.

The aim of discussing graduation projects is to improve students’ scientific capabilities and equip them with the skills of writing scientific research and navigating the professional landscape post-graduation.
