To link the practical study with the theoretical side, the Department of Surveying Engineering at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific trip for third-year students under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdul Razzaq Saleh and Lecturer Layla Qais Abbas to the Scientific Care Department / Ministry of Youth and Sports on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. To attend the scientific exhibition to discover the talented 2023.
Through this trip, the students were able to gain field insight into the details of innovative engineering projects and their work methods. They were encouraged to learn how to take measurements to complete their work and link it to the theoretical part that was studied in the department.
The students expressed that such scientific trips are very important to them, and they were keen to make the most of them in order to explore and inquire about linking the theoretical aspects of their studies with the practical aspects and the need of the job market to use surveying devices. These trips contribute to discovering innovations that serve surveying work, and the establishment of such quality activities aims to showcase the creativity and scientific distinction of young people. The goal of the exhibition is to recognize the innovations and creativity of young people in various practical fields in order to highlight them and benefit from them.
