One of the faculty members from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Dhayea Assi has been on four medals (the Creativity Medal) through his participation in the Fifth International Conference on Creativity and Innovation, which was held at Al-Nahrain University under the slogan (With creativity, nations flourish) for the period from December 13-14, 2023. The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi, in cooperation with the Research and Development Department in Al-Nahrain University, and the Iraqi International Creativity and Innovation Forum, and in the presence of the respected President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Dhayea Assi received the first medal for a book in the Arabic language (Mathematics and Engineering Applications), the second medal for a book in the English language (Numerical Methods with MATLAB), the third medal for the patent (development of an electric elevator based on tanks and weights), and the fourth medal for the tagged research.
