Under the Guidance and Supervision of the College of Engineering Dean, A new Maintenance of the Facilities of the Water Resources Engineering Department Buildings

As a part of the practical campaign to receive the new academic year, which is sponsored and followed up personally and on the field by the  Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, in order for the college and its facilities to appear optimally and in a manner commensurate with the college’s scientific status. The Dean of the College of Engineering directed the maintenance of the facilities belonging to the two Departments (Resource of Water Engineering and Surveying Engineering). This campaign also included maintaining and rehabilitating the sanitary facilities for faculty and students affiliated with Departments, as well as maintaining and painting the students’ lockers that had been without maintenance for a long time, this campaign involved the cleaning and painting of the louvers. It is worth noting that the dean met, during his follow-up of this campaign, and in one of his inspection tours with the head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, Professor Dr. Basim Sh. Abd, that meeting, coincided with the second attempt examinations for undergraduate studies for the department’s students, and he directed to follow up on the department’s needs and provide the examination atmosphere for the students and make them successful. The campaign included trimming trees around the department, especially in the parking lot surrounding the Dep. of Water Resources Engineering and Survey Engineering departments.
