By the auspices of the President of the University of Baghdad, and under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Women’s Studies, (Dr. Athra’a Ismail Zaidan). A number of the faculty of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, has partecepated represented by the Head of the Department; Prof. Dr. Basim Sh. Abd, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Omran Mohsen, and the Lec. Dr. Mohammed Rashid Dadher, they participated by the cientific lecture entitled (Water Resources Management) within the activities of the scientific symposium titled (International Policies and Women’s Protection in Climate Variables and Desertification Remained a Model), which was held on Monday 8-5-2023 by the International Community Research Department and in cooperation with the competencies and intellectuals of Iraq in Freedom Hall / College of Political Science. Prof. Dr. Basim Abd has presented the obstacles faced the management of water resources in Iraq and what they require in terms of capabilities and efforts to advance them, as well as he presented recommendations to improve .
