The Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the College’s Continuing Education Unit, organized a specialized workshop entitled “Image Data Training Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Muhannad Aziz Judi on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the department’s discussion hall.

The workshop aimed to introduce modern techniques in image processing, training artificial intelligence models, and computer vision, while explaining methods for improving the efficiency and accuracy of software models in analyzing image data.

The workshop recommended expanding the use of artificial intelligence techniques in engineering applications, strengthening practical training in image data processing and preparation, and developing the technical and academic staff’s skills in applying computer vision models and improving their accuracy and efficiency.

This workshop is part of the College of Engineering’s ongoing efforts to enhance the technical skills of its staff and keep pace with scientific and technological developments, supporting the application of artificial intelligence techniques across engineering fields.
