Several faculty members from the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, participated in evaluating architectural projects submitted to the “Majaz Architecture” Competition. The competition brings together graduation projects by final-year students from architecture departments at Iraqi universities, providing an academic platform that highlights students’ creative talents and design capabilities.

The competition aims to promote constructive academic competition, encourage innovation in architectural design, and provide students with an opportunity to present their work and discuss their design concepts in a shared academic environment that facilitates the exchange of expertise among academic institutions.

The department’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting specialized scientific and professional initiatives and strengthening academic communication among architecture departments at Iraqi universities.
