The Department of Environmental Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, held a scientific workshop entitled “How to Write an Essay” on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The workshop was delivered by Assist. Prof. Nagham Ali Hassan in the department’s classrooms and attended by a number of faculty members.

The workshop aimed to introduce the fundamental principles of English essay writing and highlight its importance in developing academic expression skills and presenting ideas clearly and scientifically.

The workshop covered the main components of an essay, as well as methods for organizing ideas and arranging them in a coherent and logical sequence.

This workshop is part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at developing linguistic and academic skills and enhancing its staff’s abilities to prepare scientific texts in English.
