A Teacher At Department of Petroleum Engineering Lectures At Continuing Education Center
The Continuing Education Center at the College of Engineering organized an in-person course entitled “Designing and Maintaining Oil and Gas Storage Tanks” from 6 to 10 March 2022. During this week, Dr. Nagham Jassem Fayyad, a faculty member at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, gave lectures on oil and gas tanks in terms of their classification, and types. She also gave lectures on how to design them and the methods of calculating losses in tanks. It is worth noting that the course attendees are employees of the Ministry of Oil.
The last day was devoted to taking an exam for the course participants. After that, all participants received a Certificate of Participation. Finally, the Department of Petroleum Engineering would like to thank Dr. Nagham Jassem Fayyad for presenting these lectures at The Continuing Education Center at the College of Engineering wishing her the best.
