Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Ali Saber, and as part of the activities of the Educational Guidance Committee in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, the Department of Computer Engineering organized a ceremony to honor the top five students in the first, second, and third academic stages who achieved outstanding academic performance for the academic year 2024–2025. The event was held on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
The ceremony included the distribution of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the distinguished students, attended by a number of faculty members and a group of students from various academic stages, in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting academic support and encouragement of excellence.
This activity comes within the department’s commitment to motivating students to continue achieving academic excellence, promoting a culture of distinction, and linking academic achievement with practical applications and labor market requirements, contributing to the preparation of engineering cadres capable of effectively serving society.
