The Mechanical Engineering Department team qualified for the final of the College of Engineering Cup after securing a well-deserved 3–0 win against the Petroleum Engineering Department team. The match took place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, as part of the semifinal stage of the tournament.

The Mechanical team—champions of the past two editions—continued their impressive form, reaffirming their dominance by reaching the final for the third time in the last four years under the leadership of their coach, Mr. Amjad Fathi.
