The Department of Architecture at University of Baghdad organized a scientific field visit on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, to the Baghdad Equestrian Club for fourth-year students, under the supervision of instructors of the Exterior Spaces Design course.
The visit aimed to provide students with a direct opportunity to explore the key characteristics of open spaces in the city of Baghdad, and to identify the stimuli that enhance designers’ creativity. It also sought to deepen their understanding of the functional and organizational aspects that govern the design of open spaces surrounding buildings and major projects.
This visit comes as part of Baghdad Engineering’s commitment to promoting experiential and observation-based learning, encouraging students to connect academic knowledge with practical reality, thereby refining their design skills and advancing their architectural vision.
