The Council of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad held its eighth session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Sunday morning, 1 February 2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Deans and Heads of the Scientific Departments.
During the session, the Council discussed a number of issues related to student affairs, reviewed the results of the first semester of the academic year 2025–2026, and examined ways to enhance the educational process and strengthen academic performance in line with the approved plans.
At the conclusion of the session, the Council listened to the remarks and proposals of the Heads of the Scientific Departments, emphasizing the importance of taking the necessary measures to ensure the continuity of academic and administrative work with high efficiency, in a manner that achieves the objectives of the College and the University.
