The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the College of Engineering organized a scientific visit for second-year students to the Ministry of Youth and Sports – Scientific Care Directorate, as part of its plan to support practical training and develop students’ field experience.
Officials from the Scientific Care Directorate warmly welcomed the student delegation and delivered an introductory presentation on the directorate’s programs aimed at supporting innovation, scientific research, and nurturing young talents in scientific and engineering fields. The students also visited several specialized departments and laboratories, including the Aircraft Models Laboratory, where practical explanations were provided regarding the nature of work and activities carried out there.
The visit also included scientific lectures addressing mechanisms for participation in research projects and training courses sponsored by the ministry, contributing to the development of students’ skills and encouraging innovation.
This visit comes within the framework of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering’s commitment to linking theoretical knowledge with practical application and opening new horizons for students to actively engage in future scientific and technological projects.
