On Thursday, August 29, 2025, the summer training program for developing students’ skills concluded in Basra Province. The program included third-year students from the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad, as part of the STARTUP EXCHANGE PROGRAM. The month-long program combined field training in oilfields with academic knowledge, with the participation of students from several Iraqi universities.
Representing the College of Engineering at the closing ceremony was Prof. Dr. Faleh Hassan Mohammed, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, on behalf of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majid, during the scientific competition day and the graduation ceremony of the institution’s seventh season.
The Mishwar Foundation for Training and Development praised the active role of the College of Engineering in supporting and empowering students to participate effectively, which contributed to the success of the summer program and the achievement of its training objectives.
