As part of the collaboration between the University of Baghdad and the industrial sector, a team from Schlumberger conducted job interviews on Monday, April 28, 2025, for fourth-year students of the Petroleum Engineering Department – College of Engineering. The interviews took place in the department’s Discussion Hall.
The session began with a presentation delivered by the company’s representatives, offering an overview of Schlumberger, highlighting its key fields of work and services within the oil and energy sector. The presentation also detailed the application process for available job opportunities and outlined the employment requirements.
Following the presentation, direct interviews with the students were conducted to assess their academic and practical skills, with the aim of attracting promising talents to meet market needs. This initiative reflects Schlumberger’s commitment to recruiting graduates from prestigious universities, particularly the University of Baghdad.
This effort aims to enhance students’ opportunities to secure employment in major international companies and supports the university’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between academic education and the labor market.
