As part of the Psychological Guidance Plan, the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation Unit, hosted a welcome ceremony for newly admitted first-year students for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The event, held in the Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Omar Hall, was attended by the department head, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rasha Habib Salman, alongside a group of faculty members and staff. During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rana Thabet delivered an introductory seminar about the department, detailing its academic programs, the nature of studies, and what students can expect during their educational journey.
The ceremony aimed to warmly integrate students into the department, provide them with valuable insights into their academic paths, and encourage their commitment to excellence in the field of chemical engineering.
