The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized an awareness campaign on Monday, 26 October 2026, under the supervision of the Unit Director, Prof. Dr. Ilham Ali Bayoumi.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of rationalizing water and energy consumption, conserving natural resources, and reducing waste and environmental pollution.
The campaign included the distribution of electronic and printed awareness posters highlighting ways to rationalize consumption, the importance of environmental sustainability, and the environmental and engineering aspects of resource conservation, in addition to introducing alternatives to conventional electrical energy sources.
This campaign is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices within the university community.
