On Monday, December 15, 2025, the Smart Hall in the Department of Electrical Engineering hosted a specialized training lecture entitled “Skills for Preparing and Delivering Graduation Projects,” presented by Dr. Farah Mahdi. The lecture was well-attended by fourth-year students, as well as several faculty members and staff from the department.

In her lecture, Dr. Farah Mahdi focused on the strategic aspects that ensure the quality of the project’s final output. The lecture covered how to structure the final report according to rigorous scientific standards, techniques for addressing an audience, time management during discussions, the effective use of visual aids, and highlighted common mistakes students make during scientific documentation and how to avoid them.

The lecture included an open discussion session where Dr. Farah answered students’ questions regarding the technical and methodological challenges they face in writing their project chapters. Dr. Mahdi concluded by emphasizing that “the graduation project is not merely an academic requirement, but rather an introductory document for the engineer before entering the job market.”

For its part, the department praised the efforts made in organizing this lecture, which aims to raise the level of graduates’ competence, stressing its continued commitment to holding such workshops that contribute to refining the student’s professional and scientific character.
