The Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Department of Administrative Affairs at the University of Baghdad, organized a field-based practical lecture for students of the Electrical Engineering Department, as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening the applied aspect of education and linking theoretical study with real-world expertise.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Hassan Ali Hassan, Director of the Department of Administrative Affairs, introduced students to the new power transmission line project established to supply the College of Artificial Intelligence and the College of Excellence with electricity. The session also included an overview of the department’s key electrical projects within the university and their operating mechanisms, providing students with direct insight into the stages of implementation and operation.

In addition, the staff of the Department of Administrative Affairs provided practical explanations regarding the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, aiming to equip students with hands-on skills that complement their theoretical knowledge and prepare them to enter the labor market with competence.

This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 17 on partnerships for achieving the goals.
